Sandy Cokayne, who is something of a darling in the Sydney anthropology scene, has spent many years travelling to find inspiration in both the unique and the ordinary to bring to life under her creative vision. After completing a degree in Social Science at Macquarie University, she turned her hand at radio journalism, event management and teaching English. However, with a long standing interest in film and television, she began producing documentaries in 2004 whilst living in London (Folding Paper Cup, How to be a Bollywood Extra, and Alter-EGO). Both Norton and Cokayne joined their creative juices together once again to bring the short film festival Chop Bin Sync to Sydney, as well as two seasons of the television music show In the RAW. |
